Camden Heritage Festival

The public is invited to the First Annual Camden Heritage Festival to be held September 12, 2020, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., at the Camden Community Park, behind the Camden Intermediate School, 123 Noblitt Dr., Camden, NC 27921.
The family oriented heritage festival begins with a “Swamp Monster Costume Contest” at 10:00 a.m., as participants of all ages are invited to walk the track and 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners with be awarded. Displays will include showing the heritage/history of Camden County, with farm equipment, implements, combines, tractors, draft horses, wagon rides, blacksmith, wildlife, forestry, fishing, crabbing, sheep shearing, spinning/weaving, beekeepers, and other artifacts depicting the history and roots of Camden County.
There will also be classic cars, food trucks, arts and craft vendors, stage entertainment and games for children and adults, and silent auction items up for bid.
Admission is free and commemorative t-shirts and official programs will be sold. Deadline for sponsorships and supporters and to sign up as a vendor is March 10th.
